How to apply for Park Entry Permit of Snow Mountain (Xueshan ) in Shei-Pa National Park

1. Download Application Form of Park Entry Permit.

2. Fill in the application form which includes your schedule, members of group, passport numbers, address,emergency contacts. Here is the example.

3. Submit the application form between 7 to 30 days before your departure date by email to greattit@spnp.gov.tw / lyonia@spnp.gov.tw.

4. After 3 to 5 days, Shei-Pa National Park will issue Park Entry Permit by e-mail.

1. Itinerary of he most popular route to Snow Mountain (East Xue Trail)

Day 1: Yilan → Wuling Farm → Trailhead of Snow Mountain → Qika Hut → East Peak of Snow Mountain → 369 Hut (average hiking hrs: 6hrs)

Day2: 369 Hut → Summit of Snow Mountain → 369 Hut  (average hiking hrs: 5hrs)

Day3: 369 Hut → East Peak of Snow Mountain →  Qika Hut → Trailhead of Snow Mountain → Yilan (average hiking hrs: 4hrs)

2. Traffic Information from Yilan to Wuling Farm
   Take Kuo-Kauang bus 1751 in Yilan Transfer Center (See on Google map)
   Bus fee: NT 285
   Travel time: 4hrs
   Yilan to Wuling Farm: 07:30 / 12:40

    Wuling Farm to Yilan: 08:30 / 13:30

   Take Kuo-Kauang bus 1764 in Luodong Station (See on Google map)
   Bus fee: NT 294
   Travel time: 4hrs
   Luodong to Wuling Farm: 07:00

Note: Form Wuling Farm to the trail head, there is a  4.5 km distance. It takes around 2hrs to walk there. Get a ride in you can.
